Referring to your telegram of the
Aday 24th. October/and Confidential Despatch of the 27th. of 36474
that month in which you approved the proposal of the Ad-
-miralty that the arms surrendered by the crew of the
"Burni" to the Commander-in-Chief of the China Station
should be stored at Hongkong by the Colonial Government
until the conclusion of the War between Russia and Japan,
I have the honour to inform you that these arms which had
been in charge of the Captain Superintendent of Police were,
after being inspected by Lieutenant Skrydloff, and after a
receipt had been given for them, placed on board the
*Almaz" •
